To My Folks,
My new life has begun with being able to say “Yes” or “No” without igniting a major event with friends and family. It has begun by treating myself like the queen that I am.
This queen gets weekly massages and a mani and pedi before she needs one. This queen savors a glass of wine and enjoys sunrises and sunsets. This queen prays for world peace and expects it to manifest. She also hosts ‘Peace’ and her companion, ‘Quiet.’
This queen doesn’t rush to get somewhere she doesn’t want to be. Rather, she takes time to listen to the very distinct sounds of the greatest symphony ever composed—life. She hears all the intricacies of the orchestra, including the laughter of children at play who are safe and not in fear of losing their lives.
This queen sees and hears Heaven on Earth.
I have Heaven right here on Earth.
